Relaxing Music for Bonding
An exclusive playlist for Courtney Adamo’s In Blossom.
While you are pregnant, listening to music will not only have a soothing and uplifting effect on you but also a positive influence on your unborn baby. Listening to relaxing music lowers anxiety, and sends calming chemicals throughout the body and into the placenta, facilitating bonding and connection.
Your baby’s hearing is formed by 16 weeks and fully developed by 24 weeks. Listening to music encourages early brain development in the fetus because music facilitates neuron connections in the brain. Especially high information music such as Classical and Jazz music.
Moreover, your unborn baby will be able to remember the music you listened to while you were pregnant. This means that you can use the same music to soothe your little one after it is born. With that purpose in mind, we created the Sleepy Babies playlist, which you can get in your inbox when you subscribe to our newsletter.
