For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, this time of year is rough, to say the least. The winter feels endless, the lack of Vitamin D is dire, and getting kids to put on infinite amounts of winter gear each morning is EXHAUSTING. So, I’ve been craving a strong dose of adrenaline to jumpstart our mornings and that’s what this playlist is all about! It’s meant to get you and your kiddos bopping and clapping and saying “we got this, we can do this”. Or as Cyrille Aimee says in her song “It’s a good day from morning to night!”. Try it out and let me know if it did the trick!

This Week —

I took advantage of a holiday when I didn’t have to work and my Elf didn’t have school and I decided to go on a date with him! We went to the American Museum of Natural History where we saw an exhibit about sharks. I spent all week preparing him for this visit by looking at photos and videos of the exhibit, listening to podcasts about sharks, and exploring the map of the museum. By the time we got there, the Elf was so ready and prepared that he never hurried thru any of it. Instead he wanted to see more rooms and learn more things. Honestly, we left because I was tired before he was! But at 30 weeks pregnant, stamina isn’t in vast supply so I’ll cut myself some slack. The point is, museums-with-kiddos is totally doable as long as you prepare them!
